Transformer drawings

This is a sketch of Optimus Prime I did before school.

My dad and I made up this thing called "sketch night."  So, during that sketch night, I drew this and thought that I could post this on my blog, and I really like this.

This I drew for a practice sketch of  a box of a comic book.  Although it's too big, and fills the whole paper, it's just practice.  That's why I used dialogue.  I used a dialogue bubble stencil from the "How to Draw Transformers" book.  And I am a big fan of the book.

This one I drew in art class and I'm not done with it.  It's 2 transformers fighting, and I was going to draw this for a friend.

  1. I enlarged all of the drawings to see detail. I especially like the second sketch of Optimus Prime showing the object being blasted. I also like your idea of dialogue. It adds interest and makes me want to see the next drawing to see what happens next.

  2. Royston, you are SO talented! I think you're going to be a famous artist one day...or maybe an animator! Wouldn't that be awesome? :)

I especially loved your origami designs. You should think about writing a book with step-by-step instructions on how to make your intricate designs because I bet a lot of people would really like them.

    Happy creating!
